The big Move

Sorry for the delay in blogging. The last month has led Les and I on a major readjustment including a road trip (another one), a birthday surprise (another one), and small cars. You may ask, how do Jeremy and Lesley do it? Well it takes 1.) unemployment, and 2.) interesting circumstances. This blog starts with a road trip. Les and I having fought an uphill battle for a while in Prescott, Az and made the choice to try a new beginning in Colorado. I called in the reserves, Justin and Chris, who drove to Prescott and met us to help us pack up and ship out. It was sad to leave our friends and family behind in Prescott, but it was exciting to think of the new adventures that would surely follow in Denver. We loaded up our vehicles, assigned road names (Rabi Bull, Crazy Cricket, Firefly, and 529) and attacked the US hwy system. We had plenty of check engine lights, high winds, and flat tires, but we made it to Colorado if not in a timely matter. After we had been in the new city for two days another surprise was waiting for Les, her entire family. Jane, Newt, and Ross flew in from MS, AZ, and MT to help celebrate Lesley's 30th birthday as we transitioned. We had a wonderful 3 days with them eating, visiting art shows, climbing in Eldorado Canyon, and hanging out. We really enjoyed their company. My mother invited us to attend her company picknick at Hyland Hills Adventure Golf the next weekend were we played put put, drove go carts (Les drove the John Deere Cart of course), and went 0 to 60 in one second in a drag racer. We can only hope that life doesn't slow down. Thank you to everyone who made the last three months of our marriage an adventure of a lifetime!

A San Fransisco Earthquake

Have you ever seen a San Fransisco earthquake? Well on our trip to San Fransisco for Lesley's 30th birthday we were treated to that very thing. With Chris, Jamie, Les, and I, we ordered 8 Scoops of Ice Cream, 8 toppings, and sprinkles on top. the four of us devoured the whole thing and I licked the plate. If ever in San Fran and want to experience the furry of an earthquake go to Gharadali's square and order one up.

Lesley Turns 30!

Welcome to the wild world of Lesley and Jeremy where there is never a dull moment. Lesley Celebrated a lot of accomplishments this last week most notably taking the final test in her quest for a CPA and our dear Lesley also turned the corner with the big 30! We started off the week with a short drive to Phoenix so that Lesley could relax and take her test.Lesley took her test on Monday the 30th and was greeted by me with flowers in celebration of the day. The test was finished and we proceded with the relaxing but not before we surprised a good friend of ours, Jeannette Kille, at the Phoenix airport with a birthday bash at the baggage claim with pink hats, balloons, flowers, and excitment. The party continued back at the Kille residents. Jeannette turned 26 and celebrated with Ginger, Jamie, Lesley and Jeremy. While Lesley relaxed in her happy oblivion Jeremy and Jamie planned a kidnapping. We packed bags made plans and on the morning of August 2 told Lesley to wear something comfortable and proceeded to blind fold Lesley and stick her in car for a little day trip, (to Santa Cruz, CA) a 12 hour day trip, and she had no clue what was in for her.
We arrived in Santa Cruz and proceeded to surprise Lesley with a trip to the spa and a bowling night where all of her friends and family came to celebrate. The next two days involved wine tasting, trips to the beach, and a full day of excitement in San Fransisco, including a trip to the Webcor construction site that cousin Chris is an engineer on (Note the hard hats). Now it's back to Prescott, AZ. Stay Tuned.
