How to survive in AZ!

Arizona is Hot! One way to cool off is to jump into a 1993 blue olds with no air conditioning and drive to Phoenix, where it's even hotter than Prescott. Once in Phoenix head over to Lesley's good friend Jamie's house were there is a pool; Commence playing in the water until the rain starts. Once the rain starts head to target and spend money... because it makes you feel good. Rain stops, get back into the pool. We had a great weekend of relaxing and playing in the water, and we needed it after all of the studying, working, stressing, and planning that has taken over our lives as of late. Les hitting the CPA books!

It's been a very turbulent month in Arizona. We did finally get our monsoon rains... at least some rain is good. Lesley has been studying very hard for the final test in her CPA quest, (Just look at her in study mode) just one week until the exam. The Forest Service has been a joy to work for, I love marching around in the Ponderosa Pine and Juniper forests. Lesley also has her 30th birthday coming very soon, Aug 3, and we can't wait to celebrate that with all of her friends here in Phoenix.

We got engaged in June of 2006 and were married on May 19, 2007. This photo was taken by our friend Peter Thomsen at Lesley's childhood home in Gilliam, La. Our wedding was a magical day that we will never forget.
