Matilda's Baptism
Sunday, March 25th was a special day in our household. Sweet little Matilda Rose was baptized.
She's got her little arm wrapped around the blanket used in Mommy's baptism and the handkerchief used in Daddy's baptism.
Words can't describe how it feels to see your precious child be baptized. It is an incredibly sacred moment.
Some of her grandparents were able to share in the moment.
And, she's blessed with some wonderful godparents.

The First Bottle
Jeremy gave Matilda her first bottle during Week 6 in preparation for me going back to work...
Jeremy was pretty excited about it...
Matilda was not as excited!
It was a pretty traumatic event for Matilda and Mommy, but we've adjusted, and when Mommy is off teaching yoga and Matilda gets hungry, she knows Daddy can meet her needs.
I am special...
I was born at home!
This picture was taken right about the time she really started mimicking our smiles (Week 6)!
Christmas Visitors
My mom and Tucker came to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with us.
Jeremy's parents and grandma arrived Christmas afternoon and spent the week with us.
Matilda got lots of love and attention.
Jeremy's dad does wood-working and hand made each of their son's families beautiful Chinese Checkers and Clobber boards with inlays. The games were played much during the week, and I know they will continue to be played over the years with our family.
With the wood-working skills around the house, Father and Son built us two new cabinets in the kitchen to help make up for space that now is used for bottles, breast pumps, bibs and baby dinnerware.
Wanda and Grandma LC prepared the meals throughout the week, and we enjoyed some wonderful German food during the week. Yum!
